I find water visually fascinating, it can be so many things and captured so many ways, from tiny droplets like diamonds, as reflective as a mirror, or fluid, angry and full of energy. These are some of my attempts to capture that.
A series of photographs of small static water droplets on a slightly oily brushed aluminium surface. The colour was purely down to whatever was reflected in the metal as I worked. The splashes are in the same environment with the addition of more water and a small bottle, with a hole in the cap, was rigged to deliver single droplets into the reservoir below.
Photographs taken with the Fuji 602 on a tripod on a very cold January day when a small, fast moving stream was almost frozen. I slowed the exposure to smooth the water movement.
Assorted water shots, some with very fast exposures to freeze movement.
