I have been a keen photographer since childhood and studied it through college as one of the subjects of my technical illustration course. With the advent of digital photography, my enthusiasm was re-awakened. Photographs on the site have been largely taken with the Fujifilm Finepix S602Z digital camera, the Canon 300D Digital Rebel and Canon 20D, unless otherwise stated. All of the scenery shots are taken within the north west of England, largely in Lancashire and Cumbria.
My photographs are organised roughly into galleries as indicated by the image links below and some images may be duplicated in different sections where they fit more than one theme. The Live Music photos are in a separate portfolio of live music photographs at www.boo-photos.co.uk.
Most Recent Work:
Due to domestic circumstances, the site hasn't been updated recently as often as I'd intend and the whole portfolio is long overdue for an overhaul. My most recent work is at a photo-sharing site where I temporarily place them, in approximate chronological order rather than organised by subject, before they make it on to here. You can view my very latest work in my gallery at Image Event.
My Live Music Photography site is kept up to date and the Panorama Gallery here is current, as it's the best way to show them as a collection.
I also have a less formal series of blog style tutorials - often based on forum posts for regularly occuring subjects - including one on getting the best from a compact camera for gig photography. Eventually, all my tutorials will be updated and imported into that format of site.

I have designed a range of hand made photo greetings cards featuring my original photographs, printed to archive standards, mounted on quality, locally made card. These can now be purchased through the site by mail order, using Paypal or a credit or debit card.
Prints:
If you'd like to buy photographic prints of any of the images featured here, I have set up a gallery at the award winning UK print lab PhotoBox. You can order prints directly from them for as little as £3.00 plus P&P and they can ship worldwide. The Boo's Digital Photography gallery at PhotoBox is a work in progress and new images are being added regularly. If you don't see one there that you'd like to buy, please feel free to ask me about it, chances are that I just haven't got round to it yet, in which case, I'll be happy to add it to the gallery for ordering.
Stock Image Use:
The photographs on the site are available for stock use. If you have a particular use in mind for any of the photos you see, please contact me with details of your proposed use and a fee will be quoted, depending on the suitability of the original file for the proposed end use and in line with fair market values. Not all images will be of a suitable resolution for some processes, so please send final print sizes where appropriate.
None of my photographs on any of the sites referenced are royalty free and must not be used in any way, even for non-commercial use, unless a temporary copyright licence is directly negotiated. I am happy to consider any requests for not-for profit uses, but reserve the right to refuse permission.
